MAJORLY OBSERVED EARLY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS BEFORE MISSED PERIOD

earlysignsofpThe possibility of a woman’s getting pregnant is high when they miss their regularity in the menstrual cycle. Pregnancy can happen when the eggs produced during ovulation gets fertilized with the sperm. In the line of uterine the egg which is fertilized gets implanted. The thickened uterine line supports the fertilized egg implantation. Thickening of uterine lining is due to the hormones like progesterone and the estrogen, as well as the uterine lining sheds if there is no egg and sperm fertilization. Implantation of fertilized eggs stops the menstrual cycle and uterine lining continues to become thick. Very common indication of woman getting pregnant is missing out the periods. In early pregnancy stage woman body goes under some behavioral and physical changes, such indications may not be seen in every female.

Estrogen and progesterone are hormones that are responsible for thickening of the uterine lining and also the shedding of the lining in case if there is no fertilization of an egg and sperm. When the implantation of fertilized eggs happens, the uterine line continues to increase the thickness, and the bleeding during periods will be stopped. Because of this reason a missing menstrual cycle is believed to be the most ordinary pointer for maternity by women who are trying to conceive. Before the due date of menstrual cycle woman can experience sore breasts, mood swings, gastrointestinal problems, fatigue, and food cravings etc which are discussed in this article.

Early pregnancy symptoms:
When the fertilized egg is implanted placenta secretes a pregnancy hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin hormone (HCG) and it causes behavioral and bodily changes. HCG maintains the development of estrogen and progesterone and it keeps rising up to 12th week of conception. After ovulation Seven to ten days of duration is needed for the implantation process to happen.

Very common symptoms during pregnancy are as follows
• Basal body temperature increase:-
Basal body temperature is the body temperature during rest position and in 1-2 weeks of menstrual cycle this temperature is low. In the body when the estrogen level rises basal body temperature also rises. Estrogen levels drops down and causes bleeding if there is no fertilization of eggs with the sperm. Level of estrogen hormones continues to rise and thickens the uterine lining if the woman is conceived.

• Cramping and muscle implantation bleeding:-
Implantation bleeding is after ovulation spotting takes 7-12 days. Before due date of menstrual cycle bleeding might occur and most of the times women mistakes it as period. When the fertilized egg gets attached to the uterine lining spotting or bleeding can occur. Cramps in the abdominal region is experienced which they may consider as premenstrual syndrome.

• Regular urination:-
The very common symptom during the course of conception is the frequent urination. For every 2-3 hours it needs to be relieved which is because of the volume of blood. HCG hormone causes a very high blood flow into the pelvic region which raises the sensitivity of the bladder resulting in frequent urine discharge.

• Breast changes:-
Significant change in women during conception is sore breasts. High secretion of estrogen and progesterone make the nipples very tender to touch. Due to increased blood volume the fluid level raises which makes the breast look big and swell. Tingling sensation can be experienced as the volume of blood increased.

• Mood swings:-
Interaction of hormones ends up in bringing a lot of changes such as imbalance in the neurotransmitters which directly affects the mood. In the very first few week, extreme hormone changes bring the mood swings.

• Tiredness:-
After two to three weeks of pregnancy feel like tiredness, sleepiness can be experienced. Severe variations in hormonal level are might be the reason for fatigue. To provide sufficient nutrients to the fetus body of the woman has to work hardly. Mother’s blood provides the nutrients to the fetus so the woman heart must pump harder. Rise in the secretion of progesterone causes sleepiness by depressing the central nervous system.

• Gastrointestinal issues:-
Few may experience loss of appetite, nausea, indigestion along with nausea. There can also be symptoms like when gastric juices regurgitates to esophagus from the stomach burning sensation in the heart is sensed. Morning sickness comprises of vomiting and nausea is the very general indication of conception. Morning sickness is experienced after 50-60 days of pregnancy.

• Food desire:-
Enormous changes in the estrogen and progesterone brings up the food cravings, intensive urgency to eat specific foods. Progesterone stimulates the ones appetite and estrogen is the appetite manager. Some theories say that to overcome the nutritional deficiency food cravings may occur. We can overcome this symptom by consumption of such foods.

Along with the above mentioned general symptoms, changes in the hormonal level stimulate dizziness, severe head ache, very keen to smell. The symptoms discussed above may not appear in all women. Few of these symptoms can be felt before menstrual cycles and such sensations are not taken seriously. The only best way to know whether conceived or not is by testing pregnancy at home using pregnancy test kit. Always we can’t expect the accurate results from the test kits so consult the gynecologist and get tested.
