We all knew that tobacco addiction leads to various serious health problems that associated with mental and physical health. Tobacco holds an addictive nature drug known as Nicotine. It is a heavily used drug around the world and available in various forms like cigars, pipe tobacco, cigarettes and chewing tobacco. The drug found in the tobacco is very similar addictive like other drugs such as cocaine and heroin. Millions of people around the world are tobacco addicted and attempts so many times to leave this addiction. But they failed due to the withdrawal symptoms of tobacco addiction like stress, weight gain etc. There is no doubt that tobacco addiction nearly harms every organ of the body. And sometime you observe side effects of smoking immediately.

Smoking tobacco kills more than 480,000 people in the United States every year. And these numbers are rapidly increasing day by day according to the medical research reports. People believes that smoking only triggered cancer, but believe me this addiction damage nearly every organ of the body including blood vessel, kidney, lungs, heart diseases, reproductive organ, skin, eyes and bones.

Apart from that, this bad habits increase the risk of other autoimmune disorders like rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease. It is medically proven that tobacco addiction doubles the risk of rheumatoid arthritis in young age. You can only minimize the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis by leaving tobacco addiction. In addition, smokers also experience type 2 diabetes as compared to non-smokers.

Weak Bones

Decreased bone density in the young age is also linked with the tobacco addiction. Including tobacco addiction – higher body weight, alcohol consumption and less physical activity also increased the risk of weak bones and fracture. And this condition is medically known as osteoporosis, which is mostly experienced by oldies. There is strong evidence that smoking addiction is responsible for the fluctuation of estrogen in women body which increases the risk of bone disorder.

Affect Heart and Blood vessel

Tobacco holds many chemical that affect the heart function and can harm your blood cells. Smoking addiction makes blood thicker, which means your heart needs to put extra efforts to move blood in your body. That makes heart weaken and put extra stress on it. Thick and sticky blood increases the risk of blood clots formation in which heart, legs and brain received lack of blood supply. In simple words, damage of the blood vessels due to sticky blood can doubles the risk of heart attack or stroke.

Smoking tobacco is not only increase the blood pressure but also enhance the risk of developing clogged arteries. The deposits of unhealthy fats inside arteries walls increase the risk of plaque build-up. And medically this condition is well known as atherosclerosis in which blood is blocked by the deposits of unhealthy fats and which further leads to heart attack, erectile dysfunction and amputation in toes.

Everyone knows that tobacco contains more than 7,000 chemicals and out of them almost 70 chemicals cause cancer.  Lung cancer is a common condition faced by smokers. Smoking affects the whole body and increases the risk of developing cancers like lung, kidney, bladder, stomach, pancreas, liver, colon, oral etc.

Erectile dysfunction

As we know, reduced flow of the blood towards reproductive organ increased the risk of developing erectile dysfunction. It is cleared that smoking tobacco increases the risk of impotency – in which men unable to get erection during sexual intercourse. Apart from that, smoking also increases the risk of infertility in among both men and women.

Other problems

Hormonal imbalance, increased belly fat, tired muscles, weak memory are the common health problems that contributed by longer smoking addiction.
